Busy Week!

Today my baby girl is 15 months old. I realize that there are so many adorable things that she does on a daily basis, and there is no more room for these cute things in her baby book. So, I'm back to blogging.
This week had been very busy for our little girl, not only is she 15 months old today, but she got her first, second, and third molars this week! The fourth one is right around the corner and almost through the surface. We go to the doctor tomorrow for her 15 month check up, we'll see how she's doing other wise then!
This is the longest we've gone with out a visit for an ear infection! It's been wonderful!
Tonight, Addyson did the sweetest thing in the world. She asked me to pick her up, grabbed my face with her tiny hands, puckered up her lips and gave me a huge kiss on the lips! She did this like 5 or 6 more times as I did a mix of laugh and cry. I can't believe how much she has grown up in just a few months. Since her first birthday, she just gets more like a toddler each day. I'm in serious denial!
On another note, Addyson is really good with her basic sign language. She asked me tonight to have a snack before bed. She even told me exactly what she wanted, by pointing. She ended up with green beans and an apple cinnamon cereal bar. What a mix!! She ate everything I put on her high chair, so I can't complain! She also drank a whole glass of her chocolate milk/formula. I can't believe I actually spent money on formula, and the first time ever at almost 15 months. Enfamil had me with their mail out coupon and sample! Addyson just loves that stuff, it's like baby crack!
We got a new type of baby carrier this week, an ERGObaby carrier. Addyson and I both love it very much. She likes to pretend like she is me and wear it around, except it is so very big for her tiny self! I am adding a baby doll sized ERGObaby carrier to her christmas list, yes they make them!! How cute can it get?! She can carry her little cabbage patch babies around with it and she will love it. She is such a nurturing little girl.
I had to let Addyson scream herself to sleep last night. It was terrible, but luckily it only lasted a minute or two. She was so tired, we went to the park for her Daddy's softball game, and we were way past bedtime when we got home. She was so overtired and it was probably my own fault. I tried to put her to sleep for an hour! I did everything I could, I nursed her, I rocked her, I even tried to swaddle her! When an hour passed and none of that worked, I just put her in her crib, and said, "Goodnight". And it worked! Judging by the sweet little kisses I got tonight, she doesn't hate me for making her put herself to sleep. She does such a good job of going to sleep for our babysitter, and all by herself when she's there!! Sometimes, even no binkie! Not for me, it's a whole process and a carefully constructed routine! Oh well, soon enough she will be at an age where I cannot rock her and hold her till she falls asleep. I will enjoy it while I can!
We played outside tonight for almost 2 hours, and mostly she just played in her sand/water table. She loves that thing!! She helped me hang out laundry, we played on the swing set for a few minutes, and then always went back to playing in the water.
Addyson has been sound asleep since 7, and I am going to relax and watch American Idol!!!
