Sorry for the sideways pictures, I will figure out how to fix that, I just don't have the patience right now.

A snapshot of my day: I almost didn't get up on time, I apparently hit the snooze one too many times and hit the limit, so my alarm stopped going off! Avery and I got a little extra snuggle time this morning! Addyson was not excited at all about wearing underwear today, but with the threat of no ipad, she happily put on her underwear. She only had one little accident today at the sitters, and none here at home. I am so proud of her! She is such a good toddler. I cannot believe she will be 3 in a little more than a month, time has gone by so quickly. She had her first nightmare last night, I was so scared! She screamed at the top of her lungs and was just hysterical. I ran so fast up to her room only to find her sobbing and shaking. I felt so badly for her. I immediately grabbed her out of her crib and wrapped her up in a blanket and smothered her in kisses. She eventually calmed down enough to tell me what was wrong, and she said, "Mommy, monsters are coming!". My heart just melted, I wanted to make her feel safe and take all her fear away! I am hoping for no bad dreams tonight! Maybe no more chinese food for her?haha

Avery did not sleep well last night, which was part of the reason for no post last night. She was up every hour and then some. I wish those teeth would come out already! It's strange to me that she's 8 months old and still has no teeth. Not that I am rushing things, I just know those teeth are on the verge of coming through the surface, and it would make my life a little easier (at least for 1 night) if they would just get it over with already! She had beef stew for dinner last night! I'm getting a little braver with her meals, and she loved every last bite of it! Now I just have to figure out how to move her to the next stage of food. I'm more afraid of whole foods than I should be, I'm just so scared she will choke! She's such a bubbly little baby! I see her face and it just makes me smile! She has just discovered her tongue in the past few days and has started to make all sorts of funny noises, but especially she likes to just say, "la, la, la". It's adorable! She ate a cherry/strawberry oatmeal for her dinner tonight, and she ate every ounce!!!

Addyson danced her little heart out tonight. I'm thinking I may be sick of the Polar Express soon, we have to rock out to the sound track all the time! She loves all the songs and has a very specific dance move for each of the songs-see the action shot above ^^^^^ I really need to get that girl into some dance classes-she loves her tute!(a.k.a.-her tutu!haha)

Off to "enjoy" a fish taco...I'm not so sure about that one, but I'll try it. I'm willing to eat almost anything if Josh is going to cook it!

Yesterday

I'm a bad blogger, I missed a day with posting. But, I did take a picture!!! Just a little dress up time with mommy!

It's snowing!

Addyson is sleeping, I am enjoying some Avery time. We are playing in the living room, catching up on some episodes of sister wives and watching the snow fall. Having beef stew for dinner tonight! I've never made it, should be interesting. Back to work tomorrow! Addyson stayed in underwear all morning and didn't pee in them, or in the potty. She held it I think until nap time when I put a diaper on her. We'll see how things go after she gets up! She earned a prize because she got a whole row of stickers. So off to target later!!

Avery is ready for nap #2!

I love the idea of posting a picture each day of the year! So, here it goes! I'm already starting off on a bad note, this is a picture of Avery from November. But, I didn't get the idea until tonight, so I'm doing the best I can!

Addyson stayed up until midnight for the first time last night! She wished everyone a "Happy Birthday" when we were all celebrating the new year. Gotta love that girl! She sure has a mind of her own.

I cannot believe the holidays are over already. We got to spend a great week with my family and my new niece, Laynee Grace. She is a doll baby, and Addy loves her tiny toes! Can't wait to see her again. She will already be a month old in 2 days, time really flies!

Avery still does not have any teeth, but she sleeps terrible, so tonight I am going to try giving her some Chamomile tea for a change. Hopefully it will help her get rid of whatever gas she has and finally get some sleep.

Addy wanted nothing to do with Saurkraut today! She hated it. She did eat a lot of other stuff though. Avery is so much of a better eater than her. We tried broccoli today for Avery, and she made the best face ever!

Addyson took a tubby last night with Isaiah, and she's been talking about who is a boy and who is a girl ever since!haha Guess that starts young! She was explaining the ins and outs of what makes a girl a girl and what makes a boy a boy today while she was sitting on the potty. She is too funny! She peed in the potty two times today! Tomorrow we are going for all or nothing! No more diapers for her! (Well, except for nap and bedtime). She was so proud of herself. I kept wanting to bribe her with candy, but it wasn't enough. Tonight we bribed her with a tiny sip of dr. pepper-and she was all about it! Guess I just needed to expand a little bit on my rewards. She earned enough stickers to get something special from the store tomorrow. We will be making a trip into target to get her a new "Shop Shop"-or a littlest pet shop toy to anyone else!

This past year was fun and exciting, this year is going to be just that much better! Addyson will be 3 this year and Avery will be 1! Time is going by too quickly and my little girls are growing up so fast.
