I was thinking it wasn't too long since my last entry, yeah right, over a month ago! So much for keeping up with a daily blog for a year. I chalk it up to being the mother of two very busy little girls and having a full time job! I just want mindless tasks for when I sit at night and relax. So, I will just share when I can!This is a picture of my oldest and my beautiful niece <3 Love them to pieces!
To update on Avery, she has a tooth finally!!! It cut through over the weekend, and I'm pretty sure there are about 5 behind it! She has an ear infection and has been on antibiotics for a few days now. She is probably the only baby on the earth who can get an ear infection without even being sick first. Poor baby. She is still our little honey badger and eats everything in sight! Just this week she has put the following things in her mouth and tried to eat them: tanbark, wood, lint, a photograph, toilet paper, tulle, carpet fuzz, a bottle cap, ribbon, dirt, something unidentifiable from the trash can, and probably some things I cannot remember at the moment! She is so different from Addy, everything goes in her mouth! Addyson never put anything in her mouth, I never worried about her. I have to follow Avery around the house, never a dull moment! She started dancing this week! When you play an upbeat song she does a little jig, it's too funny to watch!!! She waves, but it's not "bye-bye" it's to say hello when I see her! I love it and think it's the cutest thing ever!!! She has all but given up on pureed food, she refuses to eat it most of the time. I am struggling to find things for her to eat that will go down without chewing because she only has 1 tooth-makes for interesting meal prep!
Addyson is going to be 3 this month! The party is being planned! We are taking her to the bowling alley so that she can have all her friends there! She said she wanted a dora party, and that's what she is getting! All the party supplies are slowly trickling in! She is so funny these days! She says the cutest things ever! Here are a few quotes from this week:
A: "Someday I need to ride a horse, a brown horse"
Me: "Okay, you can ride a horse"
A: "No, a pink one, cause I'm a girl silly Addy"
A (from in her crib): "Mom, come here because I really need you"
Me: "What's wrong Addyson?"
A: "What's that noise, there are monsters in here, they are coming to get me!"
A:"I have a butt"
Me: "Yes you do"
A:"My butt makes stinky farts"
Me:"Wow, thank you for sharing that"
Probably so many things that I am forgetting, but so little time!!!
